There have been a few things going on recently that got me thinking some things over.
So, I decided to do what any self-reflecting person would do in today’s world – I vented via a TwitterRant.

Yes! I saw this as you posted it on twitter. I don’t work in music but the part where you said you haqve to evaluate what you ARE doing and what you WANT to be doing and then take steps to make them the same, really touched homebase. I’m with Clyde, thank you for posting this!
Yoooo Moe.. I totally agree with you on the politics of the business. It something that I’m having a hard time with right now. I’m really considering taking the red or the blue pill and staying in the game or taking my experience to another profession. Also realize that the more money you make, the harder it is to turn around and just “pay your bills”. Good post homie to let folk see the dark side….
As you get further into that career path, though, its so much tougher to remain motivated and inspired.
Where you were once a young, starving artist with dreams of revolution, innovation, and artistry… now you’re 34, and scratching and clawing for radio play and relevance.
